Contingency Program Rules

A. General:
Contingencies are posted by manufacturers, retailers, and other businesses in the forms
of cash, discount & product.
B. Objective:
To reward the racer that uses a certain product.
C. Eligibility:
Majority of contingencies requires:
Product used during entire event
Decal posted on both sides of Funny Car
D. Verify:
Race Director will check all cars prior to qualifying.
Sponsors may require proof of purchase.
E. Advertising Release:
Competitor relinquishes all rights of photos & videos to CIFCA,
Sponsors and photographers.
F. Payout:
Winner and Runner up entry forms are mailed to posting sponsors.
Sponsors pay the competitor direct.
G. Penalty:
Competitor found guilty of supplying false information or cheating
faces suspension from the association.
H. Records:
Members are advised to keep accurate records of all contingencies
due them. It is the competitor’s responsibility to follow up on any unpaid contingencies, if
necessary.
